Production Packaging Associate

Thrive Production — Las Vegas, NV

On-site
· Full-Time
· Manufacturing · $14–$17/hr

About the role

Thrive Production is a licensed cannabis production facility in Las Vegas, and we are hiring a Production Packaging Associate for our small production team.

You’ll turn finished product into retail-ready units: filling vape cartridges, gramming concentrates, building infused pre-rolls, labeling every package, and getting orders ready to ship to dispensaries.

Most of your day is bench work done with care and accuracy. The rest is whatever the operation needs: quality checks, weighing, lab cleaning, waste disposal, and order fulfillment. Every day is different. On a small team, weswitch gears to support each other, and the right person for this role likes that.

You will take direction from the Inventory Manager and the Director, and you will have a direct line to the people who make decisions here.

What you'll do

Core work (most of your time)

Fill vape cartridges/disposables to spec and verify fill weight and quality.

Gram and package concentrate by hand on a Nevada-certified scale, by batch and lot.

Build, weigh, and package infused pre-rolls.

Label every package with the correct compliance label, and verify thatit matches the product, batch, and lot.

Stage and pack retail orders so they are accurate, complete, and ready to ship.

Supporting the operation

Perform quality control checks on product, packaging, and labels before anything leaves the facility.

Record production, packaging, and inventory activity accurately in the inventory control system.

Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation.

Follow all facility, hygiene, and safety procedures and keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.

Handle cannabis waste according to facility SOPs and Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) requirements.

Jump into other production tasks as the day requires.

What we're looking for

Careful, consistent hands. You take pride in product that looks right and weighs right every time.

Attention to detail with labels, lot numbers, and records. Small mistakes matter in a regulated facility.

Takes initiative. You’re comfortable switching gears between filling carts, packing orders, and cleaning. Once you’re trained, we trust you to see what needs doing and just do it.

Works well with limited supervision and communicates clearly when something is off.

Basic computer skills; able to learn an inventory control system (experience with Metrc or a similar seed-to-sale system is a plus).

Prior cannabis production, packaging, food production, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required. We will train the right person.

Familiarity with Nevada cannabis regulations is a plus. No cannabis experience? We’ll train the right person.

Schedule and work environment

Extended time standing, sitting, and working at a bench, with frequent use of hands and fingers for fine, repetitive tasks.

Lift and move up to 50 lb occasionally.

Work in a climate-controlled production facility around cannabis flower, concentrates, and cleaning agents; gloves, hair covering, and other PPE are required in production areas.

Full-time, on-site schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with Holiday’s off.

Requirements to work

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must hold, or be able to obtain before the start date, a Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) agent registration card.

Must be able to obtain the local work card required for the facility's jurisdiction.

Must sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Reliable transportation and the ability to work a consistent full-time, on-site schedule.
