The Belt Operatorwillalsobetaskedwithperformingroutinemaintenanceandtroubleshootinganyissuesthatmayariseduringoperations .Bymaintainingoptimalperformanceoftheconveyorsystems,theBeltOperatordirectlycontributestotheoverallproductivityandsuccessofthebusinessservicesprovided.
- Highschooldiplomaorequivalent.
- Previousexperienceinasimilarroleorinmaterialhandlingoperations.
- Basicmechanicalknowledgeandabilitytoperformroutinemaintenance.
- Certificationinmaterialhandlingorconveyorsystemoperations.
- Experiencewithsafetyprotocolsandproceduresinanindustrialsetting.
- Familiaritywithautomatedconveyorsystemsandrelatedtechnology.
- CDLpreferred,butnotrequired.
TrainingwillbeprovidedforthosewithoutCDL.
- Monitortheoperationofconveyorbeltsandrelatedequipmenttoensureproperfunctioning.
- Performroutineinspectionsandmaintenanceonconveyorsystemstopreventbreakdowns.
- Troubleshootandresolveanyoperationalissuesthatmayariseduringtheshift.
- Coordinatewithteammemberstoensuretimelyandefficientmaterialhandling.
- Maintainaccuraterecordsofoperations,maintenance activities,andanyincidentsthatoccur.
Therequiredskillsforthispositionincludemechanicalaptitudeandproblem-solving abilities,whichareessentialforperformingmaintenanceandtroubleshootingequipmentissues.
