About the Role
We’re seeking a strategic, multi‑disciplinary Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy, planning, activation calendars, creative development, and go‑to‑market programs across a portfolio of CPG clients.
This role is central to driving growth for our clients by blending classic brand marketing, modern digital strategy, and deep CPG category understanding. You will own client‑facing relationships, guide cross‑channel programs, and collaborate closely with creative, digital, analytics, and account teams to deliver best‑in‑class work.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the strategic lead and primary point of contact for key CPG clients.
- Own annual and quarterly marketing plans, setting priorities, key initiatives, budgets, and KPIs.
- Translate client business goals into clear, actionable marketing and creative strategies.
- Drive proactive recommendations that elevate brand performance across channels.
Brand Marketing & Creative Leadership
- Lead brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and storytelling for client brands.
- Build creative briefs, guide concept development, and oversee execution across campaigns, packaging, content, and digital assets.
- Ensure brand guidelines and creative consistency across CPG and retail environments.
Activation Calendar & Campaign Management
- Develop seasonal, promotional, and product‑driven activation calendars.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of integrated campaigns—from insights to brief, development, production, deployment, and reporting.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (creative, performance, retail, social, email, PR) to deliver cohesive work.
Digital Marketing & DTC/eCommerce Support
- Partner with in‑house digital teams to guide paid media, retention, CRM, and eCommerce efforts.
- Support clients’ DTC acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies.
- Identify opportunities for testing, optimization, and channel expansion.
- Work with clients’ product and innovation teams to shape consumer‑informed product roadmaps and launch strategies.
- Build GTM plans for new products, including positioning, messaging, creative, merchandising, and omni‑channel activation.
- Ensure marketing and product timelines stay aligned across both retail and DTC.
Insights, Analytics & Client Reporting
- Monitor and interpret brand health, category trends, campaign performance, and consumer behavior.
- Guide analytics teams on measurement plans and KPI frameworks.
- Present clear insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 6–10+ years in marketing at an agency or CPG brand, with demonstrated experience across brand, digital, and integrated campaign management.
- Strong understanding of CPG categories, consumer behavior, and retail dynamics.
- Skilled in developing strategic plans and managing complex marketing programs.
- Experience working with creative teams and overseeing content, assets, and campaigns.
- Strong client‑facing communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple brands, priorities, and deadlines in a fast‑paced agency environment.
