A bit about usOur client is a well-established pair of Southern Nevada trade associations representing contractors and businesses within the plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and sheet metal industries.
Similar in some ways to a Chamber of Commerce, these organizations serve as an important resource and advocate for their members, bringing contractors and industry partners together while supporting the broader construction community. Their work spans member relations, workforce development, education and training, networking, events, government affairs, labor relations, collective bargaining, and industry advocacy.
The organizations have a close-knit, entrepreneurial team environment where people work collaboratively, brainstorm together, and take genuine pride in the relationships they build with their members and one another.
Why join us- Direct exposure to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing an opportunity to learn how a successful trade association operates and how decisions are made.
- A highly varied role encompassing membership recruitment and retention, events, communications, sponsor ships, community outreach, and industry programs.
- The opportunity to plan and host approximately 10 major events and programs each year, including networking events, educational programs, member appreciation events, mixers, an annual gala, sponsorship events, and workforce-development initiatives.
- The chance to help introduce younger generations to careers in the skilled trades through programs and events designed to educate and engage future workers.
- A relationship-driven position with regular interaction with contractor members, associate members, industry leaders, sponsors, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- A close-knit, team-oriented environment where the three-person office works together, shares ideas, and genuinely enjoys working with one another.
- A very generous retirement program, along with a strong overall benefits package.
- Significant autonomy and the opportunity to build and improve programs rather than simply maintain them.
- The opportunity to become a highly visible and trusted representative of two respected organizations within the Southern Nevada construction community.
This is particularly well suited for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, building relationships, organizing meaningful events, communicating with a wide variety of people, and being the person who makes things happen.
