Hire Now Staffing is seeking a seasoned and mission-driven Emergency Department Nurse Manager to lead a high-performing ED team in one of Las Vegas most respected acute care hospitals. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking RN leader with a strong grasp of clinical operations and a passion for driving quality outcomes in high-acuity, fast-paced environments.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of Emergency Department operations from team performance and compliance to patient flow and service delivery ensuring a consistently high standard of care around the clock.
What You ll Be Responsible For- Lead daily operations of the Emergency Department, including staffing, resource management, and patient throughput
- Foster a culture of clinical excellence through mentorship, coaching, and staff development initiatives
- Drive compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations as well as internal policies and accreditation standards
- Implement data-informed decisions to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and senior hospital leaders to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care delivery
- Identify and respond to performance gaps using evidence-based practices and root cause analysis
- Promote staff engagement and accountability through open communication and performance reviews
- BSN from an accredited program (Masters preferred but not required)
- Active RN license in Nevada (or eligibility for endorsement)
- 2-5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting
- Proven leadership experience, such as Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Charge RN
- Strong command of clinical standards and emergency care best practices
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence and ability to remain composed in critical situations
- Willingness to participate in hospital leadership meetings, on-call rotation, and limited travel
