Our client, a 300+ bed Acute Care Hospital has an immediate need for a Nurse Manager (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). The hospital offers generous relocation assistance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for the 24 hour management of the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC / step-down unit)), assuring patient care meets the standard of care.
• Nurse managers are nurse leaders with 24-hour accountability and responsibility for a direct care unit or units. They provide the vital link between the administrative strategic plan and the point of care.
• A Nursing Manager in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) oversees the daily operations of the unit, ensuring patient care meets established standards, and providing leadership to the nursing staff.
• They are responsible for staffing, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives, while also supporting staff education and development programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSN
• Must have acute care Intermediate Care Unit (IMC / step-down unit) experience
• Must have leadership experience
