Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Nights | Las Vegas LTACH

Join PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Las Vegas as a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN night shifts.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and accessing community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care through direct nursing services.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education.
• Access and coordinate community resources.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including charge nurse duties (ACLS certified).

Qualifications:

• RN licensure in the state of application.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days; ACLS is required from day 1 for charge nurses, high observation units, and ICU.
• One year inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in emergency or critical care environments desirable.
• Comfortable with ventilators, tracheostomies, PICC lines, etc.
• At least 2 years of direct patient care experience desirable.
