Overview
The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Community Health Nurse Supervisor in the Federally Qualified Health Center Division. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies in this classification for the Federally Qualified Health Center for up to four (4) months.
The current opening is in the Sexual Health Clinic.
This recruitment will close on or before the date listed above, once a sufficient number of qualified applications have been identified.
ResponsibilitiesTo lead, plan, and coordinate the activities and operations of an assigned health care program; to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the assigned program; and provide a variety of skilled nursing duties.

Education and Training- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in nursing.
- Four (4) years of registered nursing experience that includes a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in public health nursing and two (2) years of lead or supervisory responsibility preferably within the last five (5) years.
- Master’s degree may be substituted for one (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Primary Care experience preferred.
- Possession of a valid State of Nevada Registered Nursing License.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate BLS/CPR certificate within ninety (90) days of employment.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Nevada Driver License within six (6) months of employment.
- Primary Care experience preferred.
