American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a CVOR position requiring an active NV RN license and 2 years of cardiovascular surgery experience.
Requirements- Active RN license (NV)
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Work in the CVOR Surgery unit of a hospital with 4 dedicated CVOR suites among 23 total ORs
- Features one hybrid OR room
- Cares for cardiovascular surgical patients at a 1:1 nursing ratio
- Day shift team includes RN, CST, CFA, and charge nurse while night shift includes in-house trauma and call teams
- Typical procedures include CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, and vascular/thoracic surgery
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Scheduled shift is 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekend rotation
- On-call requirements include 2 on-call shifts per week and 1 on-call weekend per month
- No floating required
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical environment
- Scrubs provided by facility
- Unit guidelines and policies reviewed during orientation
- Scheduled the same as full-time staff to meet facility needs, which may vary week to week
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
