Assistant Property Manager
Location:
Las Vegas, NV
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 yearly

Mission The mission for the Assistant Property Manager (APM) is to assist the Property Management team by ensuring both managers and support staff are supported in their respective roles. The APM should be able to fully execute property management duties in the absence of the property manager. The APM should have excellent written and verbal skills and adhere to company policies at all times.
Expected Outcomes
- Communicate portfolio updates to Property Manager (PM) as needed
- Prepare amendments for lease renewals and changes
- Delegate field tasks to Administrative Assistant (AA) that require follow‑up
- Assist in rent collection and eviction process
- Facilitate tenant move‑in and move‑outs
- Assist with budget and CAM reconciliation process
- Travel to various properties throughout the valley as required
- Assist with property inspections and report necessary repairs to PM (e.g., notify landscaper when a tree is dying before it dies)
- Inspect vacancies at least once per month to ensure utilities are not over‑used (e.g., A/C off, lights off, suites in good condition)
- Complete job walks with vendors as directed

- Strong organization skills necessary to oversee varied property types
- Field task inspection/follow‑up
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficiency in Yardi, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Proficient time‑management skills
Education & Experience
- Nevada Real Estate License and Property Management Permit required
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of commercial property management experience
- Reliable source of transportation
Work Environment
- Job involves both in-office and out-of-office work hours
- Physical activity (walking, climbing stairs, etc.) required daily
