Sommelier - Allegro

Job Responsibilities

• The Sommelier is responsible for assisting with the outlet wine list, controlling cost, maintaining wine storage areas, keeping accurate inventory, training outlet staff in proper wine service, communicating with guests in a clear and professional manner, and providing excellent guest service according to Wynn Las Vegas service standards.
• The Sommelier also assists with service duties.

• Must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and professionally. Second language a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a sommelier in a restaurant with an extensive wine program and previous work experience as a food server.
• Advanced service knowledge and expert understanding of wines, including vintages, regions, and food pairings. Sommelier Certification is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
• Must obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required for this position at all times.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or above.
