The primary responsibility of the runner is to expedite all food orders taken by the bartenders and food servers to the guest quickly. The food runner is responsible for maintaining a genuine, cheerful demeanor while always representing the Caesar's brand positively.

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the runner is to expedite all food orders taken by the bartenders and food servers to the guest quickly. The food runner is responsible for maintaining a genuine, cheerful demeanor while always representing the Caesar's brand positively.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

* Serve food in a timely manner.

* Ensure food order is correct before serving the guests.

* Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests' needs.

* Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items.

* Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service.

* Passionately informs guests about Gordon Ramsay, his history, and current business endeavors.

* Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area/station.

* Ensure work area/station is clean and stocked at all times.

* Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

* Work requires 6 months' previous food server / running experience.

* Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.

* Must present a neat and professional appearance.

* Work requires interactions with customers, the public and co-workers.

* Work requires teamwork with other staff members.

* Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products.

* Ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills.

* Ability to read, write, and understand English.

* Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff, and management.

* Knowledge, understanding and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other instructions.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

* Requires standing and walking continuously with a tray up to 20lbs throughout the shift.

* Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs.

* Must be able to work in extreme heat during the summer months.

* Must be able to stand for entire shift.

* Must be able to access service area when picking up beverage orders.

* Must be able to converse over the telephone in an environment with loud background noise.

* Must be able to stop, bend and reach.

* Must have the manual dexterity required to write drink orders, prepare drinks and garnishes and beverage orders.

* Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.

* Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many customers.
