• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests when they need assistance to help solve their specific needs.

• Execute daily tasks assigned by leadership to achieve goals aligned with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backrooms, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Execute processes such as price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the total store and in your area to solve guest issues.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes, and maintain compliance with laws related to alcohol where applicable.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.

We have training to help you learn what you need to know to be a General Merchandise Expert.

• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays) with reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to climb ladders and handle, scan, move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
