Cashier – Jetro Restaurant Depot (Las Vegas, NV)

Pay Range: $6.00/hr – $6.00/hr (base). Pay depends on skills and experience.

Position Summary: We are looking for Cashiers to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashiers receive payments, issue receipts, and keep track of all cash, check, and credit transactions. You should have previous experience in a customer service position and be familiar with cash registers. Availability for evening and weekend shifts is required. The goal is to ensure smooth transactions and maximize customer satisfaction.

• Manage customer transactions using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing and product information is accurate.
• Collect payments via cash, check, or credit.
• Issue receipts and give correct change.
• Resolve customer complaints, provide guidance, and give relevant information.
• Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.

• Work experience as a retail cashier or similar sales role.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Good math skills.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Customer‑satisfaction oriented.

• Walking/standing on concrete up to 10 hours per day.
• Frequent turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending.
• Frequent pushing/pulling objects weighing 500 to 1,500 lbs.
• Frequent lifting/carrying objects over 60 lbs.

• Exposure to cold/freezing temperatures.
• Working with moving equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or scooters.
• Other duties in other departments as required.
