$12.00 to $15.00 per hour

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and assists customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and supports problem resolution. The position involves working with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greet and interact with customers to build rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers and foster a positive customer experience.
• Complete required training and other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; flexible, multi-location availability; weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified (where applicable).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

• Commission Plan Information:
  The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance.
