The Lead Sales Representative is the company’s lead sales contributor, responsible for owning key accounts and driving revenue growth. This role requires a positive, motivated, and results-driven individual with a can-win attitude. The ideal candidate will step into an active role, take ownership of existing accounts, and continue to generate new business opportunities.

This position requires high-level knowledge of low voltage systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems, as well as experience selling recurring services. The Lead Sales Representative must excel at multitasking, communication, time management, and client relationship management to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and growth.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Account Management
  • Establish, deepen, and maintain commercial accounts while building strong long-term client relationships.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations.
  • Develop new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and relationship-building efforts.
  • Attend and represent the company at trade shows, seminars, association meetings, and industry-related social events.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of all company products and services.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Perform site surveys, prepare proposals, develop accurate bids, and secure signed contracts.
  • Prepare pricing, budgets, cost analyses, and profit projections for projects.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and sold-project reporting.
  • Sell and support recurring services and long-term service agreements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven ability to build trust and credibility with customers.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Writer, and basic Windows environments.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and online forecasting tools.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven track record of consistent, high-level sales performance in a lead or senior sales role.
  • 1–3+ years of lead sales experience, with at least 2+ years in fire alarm and security system industry.
  • Direct selling experience in video surveillance, access control, intrusion, security, and fire alarm markets strongly preferred.
  • Ability to understand, present, and sell technical solutions to end-user customers.
  • Experience selling recurring services is highly desirable.

  • Pay Range: $50,000 – $80,000 per year (DOE)
  • Supplemental Pay:
    Commission and quarterly quota exceeding bonus
