Security Dispatcher - Full Time (Horseshoe LV)

Responsibilities- Greet guests and fellow team members with a friendly and sincere welcome; provide a safe environment and protect company assets.
- Perform duties in compliance with Caesars Entertainment policies and procedures and the Caesars Entertainment mission statement.
- Handle customer contact and public relations duties, primarily via telephone; provide directions and accurate information about facility hours and locations.
- Routinely patrol assigned areas, assist guests, monitor for suspicious activity, gaming violations, theft, safety hazards, medical emergencies, or property damage; know the locations of emergency equipment and exits.
- Respond to incidents requiring security intervention and assist fellow Officers as needed; maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance reflective of the Security Department; act as an ambassador by providing accurate directions to property attractions and amenities.
- Provide medical assistance as a First Responder when necessary, following proper procedures (First Aid and CPR).
- Interview, investigate, and document incidents requiring Security intervention in accordance with company policy; enforce all policies and procedures; support use of force policies as required.
- Operate as a command post and dispatching station for Security Operations and provide communications support; perform duties including data entry for applicable programs and multi-task across phones, radios, monitors, and cameras.
- Conduct drops (slot, pit poker, etc.) in compliance with Nevada Gaming law and departmental procedures; assist civil and law enforcement authorities as needed, including testimony in court or other proceedings.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; 1–2 years of security experience preferred; direct guest contact experience preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of basic computer programs.
- Must obtain and possess Nevada Gaming Card, Alcohol Awareness Card (AES), and a valid Nevada Driver’s License.
- Available to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Neat, professional appearance; able to be a team player, lead by example, and promote a positive work environment.
- Strong communication, ethical conduct, and ability to handle high-stress situations; ability to adapt to diverse values and cultures.
- Ability to maintain high standards under deadlines and to enforce policies with sound judgment; ability to testify and provide detailed reports when required.
- Work indoors and outdoors; tolerate extreme temperatures; stand for extended periods; physically restrain individuals if necessary.
- Respond calmly in crises; work independently; lift up to 60 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds; navigate stairs and uneven surfaces.
- Must read, write, speak and understand English; pass required physical and written tests; tolerate second-hand smoke, high noise, bright lights, and dust.
