Ethos seeks an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and investigative activities that identify potential fraudulent insurance claims. The role involves performing stationary and mobile surveillance, capturing high‑quality video and photographic evidence, and preparing detailed, court‑ready reports for clients.

• Case Preparation – Review preliminary reports and case information before surveillance assignments.
• Field Surveillance – Perform covert surveillance from a vehicle, track and capture high‑quality video evidence of targets.
• Report Writing – Draft detailed, court‑ready investigative reports summarizing activity and key findings.
• Documentation – Finalize case files by submitting reports and uploading video footage via a personal laptop at the end of the day.
• Communication – Work closely with the field supervisor and operations teams, receiving regular guidance and mentorship.

• Previous Experience – Demonstrated proficiency in covert surveillance techniques, high‑quality video capture, and thorough investigative reporting.
• Driver's License – Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Personal Vehicle – Reliable vehicle, preferably with tinted windows.
• Surveillance Equipment – Handheld camcorder with high‑quality zoom, covert camera device. Use of stabilization equipment is strongly encouraged.
• Technology – Reliable laptop, cell phone, and internet service for communication and administrative tasks.
• Private Investigator License – Active license or willingness to obtain one where required by state.

• Assignments typically within a 2‑hour drive of residence; occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.
• Surveillance cases often start at 6:00 AM; workday hours can vary from 3‑12 hours.
• Weekends and holidays are common workdays.
• Independent role requiring long hours alone in a vehicle, regardless of weather.
• Must remain alert, no external distractions, ready to use videography equipment to document subjects.
