As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for potential security‑related concerns and report observations according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences while on duty.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site policies, including use of assigned equipment and adherence to armed post requirements.

• Have at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
