Job Summary

Security Officers Dispatch are responsible for protecting team members, guests, their personal property, and company assets. They serve as the command post, communications center, and dispatching station for Security Operations and operational support.

How You Will Create The Extraordinary
  • Greet guests and team members with a friendly and sincere welcome.
  • Communicate professionally over telephone with patrons.
  • Ensure all required equipment is on hand and functioning.
  • Perform data entry and manage phones, radio, monitors, camera locations, and operations.
  • Review accessible video cameras, report malfunctions, and conduct incident reviews.
  • Monitor alarm systems and notify emergency personnel upon activation.
  • Patrol the property to ensure safety and uphold laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Exercise good judgment to solve problems and facilitate resolution of customer complaints.
  • Act as an ambassador of Caesars Entertainment by providing accurate directions to property attractions.
  • Aid civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court.
  • Provide medical assistance as a First Responder, including First Aid and CPR.
  • Investigate, interview, and document incidents requiring Security intervention.
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to attendance guidelines and respond promptly when dispatched.
  • Conduct slots, pit poker, and other drops in compliance with Nevada Gaming law.
  • Follow the departmental "Use of Force" policy for arrest and detention of violators.
What You Will Need
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English verbal and written communication.
  • Valid identification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card, Alcohol Awareness Card (AES/TAM), First Aid & CPR certifications.
  • Well‑groomed appearance.
  • Completion of eight (8) hours of ASP (baton) training.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Additional Requirements
  • Work and stand inside and outside, including in heat up to 115°F or cold as low as 10°F.
  • Physically restrain individuals when arrest conditions exist.
  • Respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations and make rational decisions.
  • Work independently.
  • Stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy loads, and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs.
  • Lift and carry up to 60 pounds; push or pull up to 150 pounds.
  • Recall specific details of incidents and individuals; provide court testimony and write detailed reports.
  • Tolerate environments with secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
  • Pass the physical and written testing of the Western Division Security Academy within the first ninety days.
  • Re‑certify between years 2 and 3 through the Academy and pass all required physical, mental, and environmental demands.
