Job Responsibilities

  • Respond to calls for service to gather all pertinent information related to the creation of a report.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, solution‑oriented approach.
  • Effectively communicate with members of security and management.
  • Provide assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court and administrative hearings.
  • Perform chip fills and jackpot verifications.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs and records of security incidents.
  • Regularly escort money and personnel in money‑handling positions.
  • Provide first‑aid, including CPR when necessary.
  • Patrol all sections of property to identify safety hazards and areas of vulnerability.
  • Interview, investigate, and document all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist with lost‑and‑found inquiries.
  • Receive incoming security calls (via two‑way radio, telephone, and in person) from employees and guests.
  • Call previous guests to gather information for telephonic reports (if required).
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Be in an assigned area by designated time, with company‑issued equipment, and ready to work.
  • Interact with guests and employees in a positive manner as part of security personnel.
  • Understand and perform duties of assignment.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to patrons’ needs, questions, comments, or concerns with answers and/or action.
  • Submit assigned reports as directed.

  • Advanced computer skills, with an aptitude to learn new systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of incident management systems.
  • Must regularly lift and/move up to 10–20 pounds and perform physical tasks such as push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and balance in various work areas, including confined spaces.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations
  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
