Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Resort Patrol Unarmed in Las Vegas, NV
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel or management.
- Assist guests, visitors, and staff with directions and information as needed, maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site-specific guidelines.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a secure environment for all individuals on the property.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
