Position type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

Job schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM.

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Monitor access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the retail location and around its perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, and/or site-specific procedures.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to access control, incidents, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal and client site requirements.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
