• The BVG Laborer, Irrigation VCLD is responsible to install, test, monitor, and maintain irrigation equipment such as sprinklers, pumps, water lines, and suction valves. This position also installs required materials for landscaping, irrigation, and site development.

• Follow supervisor instructions
• Hand tool use including wheelbarrow
• General mechanical knowledge and ability to recognize various irrigation parts and assembly procedures
• Load & unload materials
• Manually excavate with shovel
• Knowledge of safe working practices

• Safeguard assets from theft and misuse
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic
• Bilingual (Spanish)

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day

• Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
• Work near or about natural bodies of water
• Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
