We’re on the hunt for a highly skilled Construction Laborer to join our growing team in Las Vegas NV

The pay range starts at $20/hr and goes up from there depending on experience and includes benefits.

Your Mission
  • Perform general labor tasks including site prep, excavation, back filling, and material handling.
  • Assist skilled trades (e.g., pipe fitters, equipment operators, welders) on petroleum-related installations.
  • Follow strict safety procedures, including PPE use, confined space entry protocols, and spill prevention.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites, including hazardous material containment zones.
  • Operate hand tools and small equipment (e.g., compactors, jackhammers, cutoff saws) under supervision.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment across job sites.
  • Support fuel system construction tasks such as trenching, piping, formwork, and concrete pours.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and follow site‑specific safety and environmental plans.
  • Report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance, job site setup, and cleanup.
What You Bring To The Table

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL, COULD BE WEEKS OR MONTHS AT A TIME.

  • Prior experience working on commercial construction or industrial job sites, preferably in petroleum, oil & gas, or utilities.
  • Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment; able to safely operate under supervision.
  • Exposure to or work involving fuel systems, tanks, piping, or hazardous material handling.
  • Participation in site safety programs, including toolbox talks and job hazard analyses (JHAs).
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, work in teams, and complete physically demanding tasks.
  • Experience with excavation, trenching, concrete, or other general construction duties.
  • Ability to read simple signs, labels, and job site markings, with attention to detail.
  • Completion of or exposure to relevant safety training (e.g., OSHA 10, HAZWOPER, Confined Space).
  • History of punctuality, dependability, and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working in regulated or high‑risk environments with attention to compliance.
Before You Leap

Some positions require travel and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC.

All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the following:

  • Ability to pass pre‑employment drug‑screening and background check.
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years required.
  • IMPORTANT:
    For positions classified as safety‑sensitive, applicants are required to pass a comprehensive drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as a condition of employment.
