Description:

Orion Security Solutions is seeking a qualified technical security technician for a full-time position based in Edmond, OK. The Senior Technician/Team Leader will lead site technicians in the effective installation and integration of security solutions, requiring strong personnel and time management skills to organize and lead project teams.

Minimum Education:

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience:

4+ years of relevant low voltage and/or security field experience, including supervisory roles, access control, video, intrusion detection system installation, system design, and other low voltage system installation.

Desired

Skills:

Proficiency in reading blueprints, excellent communication skills, proficiency with G Suite and Microsoft Office, programming and operational skills with security systems, organizational skills, conflict resolution, knowledge of cable infrastructure, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Lead installation and integration teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper project execution.
• Maintain transparency regarding project status and needs.
• Mentor and train team members.
• Coordinate with customers to maintain strong relationships and ensure scope is properly completed.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and report incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements:
Travel required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to run, stand, walk, sit, handle objects, climb stairs/ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
• Standing for 95% of the shift.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally; push/pull 75 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
