Plumber

Plumbers safely installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes of utility construction projects. Plumbers collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure company procedures are followed.

What Do You Offer Us?

* Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures

* Collaborate with other construction professionals

* Follow building plans and blueprints

* Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies

* Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems

* Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required

* Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates

* Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used

* Other related duties and projects as assigned

What is Required?

* 3-5 Years field experience or Military equivalent

* Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade

* Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices

* Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings

* Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper

* Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted

* Excellent problem-solving skills

* Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

* Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements

* Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs

* Experience working in construction is a plus

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

* Ability and willingness to travel as needed

* Ability to maintain valid driver's license

* Walking 100% of the day on uneven ground

* Squatting 50% of the day

* Kneeling 50% of the day

* Standing 100% of the day

* Working with small hand tools for 30% of the day

* Working in outside environment 100% of the day

* May work more than 8 hours a day

* Will lift more than 75 lbs. 30% of the day

* Will lift at least 50 lbs. 50% of the day
