What you’ll handle

End-to-end troubleshooting and repair of systems used in commercial cleaning, restoration, and surface-prep applications.

Methodical use of test instruments, troubleshooting guides, and manufacturer repair manuals to verify faults and confirm fixes.

Proactive evaluation of additional service needs and clear communication back to the customer and team.

Customer-facing work Create accurate service orders for all incoming equipment.

Build bids and present detailed repair/service estimates.

Speak with customers in person, by phone, and via email to explain diagnostics, timelines, and next steps.

Schedule service and repair visits and keep appointments up to date in scheduling software.

Shop operations and teamwork

Hit or surpass service department quality and productivity goals.

Take direction from supervisors and coordinate shop workload with fellow technicians.

Assist technicians and store staff as needed to keep jobs moving.

Use and maintain shop tools properly; maintain clean, organized, and safe work spaces.

Order parts and work directly with vendors to minimize downtime.

Coordinate service activities with other store employees for smooth handoffs.
