We're hiring an Automotive Technician II to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and inspections across a variety of vehicles at our Manheim Nevada.

What You'll Do:- Perform preventive maintenance services (PMs), including oil changes, filter replacement, fluid checks, and inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on gas and diesel vehicles.
- Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and HVAC systems.
- Replace parts and components according to manufacturer specifications and shop standards.
- Perform light fabrication, welding, or modifications when needed.
- Use scan tools, diagnostic software, and testing equipment to identify vehicle faults.
- Accurately troubleshoot drivability issues, electrical problems, and intermittent concerns.
- Determine root causes of failures and recommend effective repair solutions.
- Escalate highly complex or unusual issues to senior technicians while assisting in diagnosis.
- 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
- The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current ASE Certification: G1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 when required by leadership.
USD 22.02 - 33.08 per hour
Compensation:Hourly pay rate is in the range of $22.02 - $33.08/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
