We are looking for a Network Infrastructure Field Technician to support the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of telecommunications and network infrastructure across data centers, Points of Presence (POPs), and other network facilities.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for a technically skilled professional who enjoys solving problems, working with network equipment, and collaborating with operations teams, carriers, and field service partners.

What You’ll Do
  • Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot telecommunications and network infrastructure.

  • Perform rack‑and‑stack activities, structured cabling, hardware deployments, and equipment replacements.

  • Work with fiber optic and copper cabling, routers, switches, DWDM systems, and optical transport equipment.

  • Support network upgrades, site surveys, equipment installations, and decommissioning projects.

  • Conduct site inspections, infrastructure audits, and inventory checks.

  • Coordinate site access, equipment logistics, vendors, contractors, and service providers.

  • Follow technical procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to improve field operations and service reliability.

What We’re Looking For
  • 2–5 years of experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, data center operations, or field services.

  • An associate degree in Telecommunications, IT, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Knowledge of fiber and copper cabling, OSP/ISP infrastructure, racks, cabinets, and AC/DC power systems.

  • Experience working with routers, switches, DWDM systems, and optical transport equipment.

  • Familiarity with OTDRs, optical power meters, fiber inspection tools, and telecommunications testing procedures.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, communication, and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and travel regularly to assigned sites.

Nice to Have
  • Certifications in telecommunications, fiber optics, or data center technologies.

  • Experience in carrier, ISP, backbone network, or colocation environments.

  • Knowledge of telecommunications permitting and regulatory requirements.
