Java developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java developer for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. You will design and build high-performing RESTful services and microservices using Java 1.8 and Spring Boot.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $50/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 1.8 and Spring Boot for high‑performing applications.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to build end‑to‑end systems, ensuring responsive web design with HTML5/CSS3 and React.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit test coverage, and debug issues efficiently to deliver defect‑free solutions.
• Work with SQL and No
  
  SQL databases, message queues, and data handling for scalable application performance.
• Analyze existing code and implement improvements, driving optimization and reliability in high‑traffic environments.
• Manage code repositories in Git and participate in Agile development processes for continuous integration and delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in Java development and modern web technologies.
• Strong expertise in Java 1.8, Spring Boot microservices, and building RESTful APIs.
