As a Senior Test Engineer - Gaming, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the technology and gaming industry. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for testing and validating cutting‑edge gaming technology and software. This role is perfect for someone who has a deep understanding of mathematics, gaming, and software testing, as well as proficiency in a variety of programming languages.
As a senior member of the team, you will also provide leadership and guidance, ensuring the highest standards of testing are met.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.
- Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
- Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
- Collaborate with other engineers and product development teams during the product design phase to understand product scope and then create appropriate test process and strategy.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure all gaming software and systems comply with applicable regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with mathematicians to understand the mathematical models used in our games and validate their implementation in code.
- Utilize statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Game Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Test Engineer role or similar.
- Proficiency in C++, C#, C/C++, and Java programming languages.
- Experience with Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical testing and statistics.
- Experience in the gaming industry, including a deep understanding of gaming regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with a logical and methodical approach to testing.
- Experience working with mathematicians and understanding complex mathematical models.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
