The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Distribution Center Operations Coordinator, reporting to our Distribution Manager, to coordinate and optimize warehouse operations in our third-party logistics (3PL) facilities. Based in the Las Vegas, NV area, this role will involve regular commute to a warehouse location in the area to ensure consistent operational standards and support between locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse operations for eComm, Retail, and Direct To Consumer (DTC) shipments, inventory control, process improvement, and a strong understanding of both warehouse management system (WMS) software systems and ERP platforms.
This role will be highly analytical, building and interpreting reporting for order management, inventory, fulfillment, SLA compliance, and more. The Distribution Center Operations Coordinator must show initiative and be able to work independently and prioritize effectively. This role is a full-time, hybrid, salary-exempt position; candidates must be located in the Las Vegas, NV area. The compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000 USD/year.
Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day operations on-site within the assigned 3PL warehouse to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate and build relationships with warehouse managers and teams to optimize workflows, improve productivity, and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Conduct and oversee inventory audits and cycle counts, capturing relevant information, ensuring data integrity, and addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze operational performance and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement; build reporting for order management, inventory, fulfillment, SLA compliance, and more.
- Serve as a liaison between warehouse staff and corporate MRO teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment on goals, expectations, and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
