This position is a Pay Band C1
Incumbent will provide food service to meet the needs of clients/employees of Community Based Services through the daily operation of the canteen and serve daily meals for the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program clients.
Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of the canteen, including sales, stocking, shopping, deposits, and check requests.
- Ensure proper sanitation of food areas, check product freshness, and serve lunch daily to Psychosocial Rehabilitation clients.
- Follow all food handling policies and procedures.
- Provide daily support in Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program as needs arise.
- Experience working in a hospital setting.
- Experience serving food.
- Experience working in customer service.
- Experience in proper cleaning of kitchen, utensils and equipment.
- Eighth grade education.
- Must possess a current driver's license.
This position will perform in an outpatient hospital and office setting with exposure to VDT and computer and phone usage. Requires extended periods of talking, standing, bending, squatting and occasional reaching above head and shoulders as well as the ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Exposure to mentally and behaviorally challenged residents who may exhibit unpredictable and sometimes violent behaviors in volatile situations required.
Shift is 7:30am to 3:30pm. The location is at Community Based Services.
