The electrician is responsible for maximizing equipment availability and reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance by establishing diagnostics and appropriate improvement plans while maintaining a safe work environment.
You will be required to inspect, install, repair, fabricate, modify, calibrate, and adjust all types of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment. Maintenance will not be limited to production equipment but will also include building mechanics and all auxiliary systems. You must be able to work from plans and/or diagrams and generate them as needed.
Responsibilities:- Perform electrical maintenance, diagnose systems and control devices
- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical and electronic components
- Test equipment and components for current, continuity, and voltage
- Conduct preventive and predictive electrical maintenance of equipment
- Complete and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance documentation
- Ensure compliance with installations according to current codes, laws, and regulations
- Maintain, repair, and test switching devices, transformers, and regulators
- Maintain, repair, and test motors and control systems
- Maintain and update electrical drawings
- Replace lights in the plant and office
- Perform any other assigned tasks
- Professional certification as an industrial electrician
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have own tools
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagrams
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Willingness to work outside of regular shifts and perform overtime as needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Able to lift 25 k g
