Job Description
Drivers that hire before 9/7/2026 will receive an additional $500 on their first check!
Position Details:
- Delivering concrete fiber siding on a 48' flatbed trailer with fixed tandems within a 275-mile radius
- No driver manual loading - loads will be preloaded or live loaded (avg 1 hr)
- No driver manual unloading - loads will be drop & hook or live unloaded (avg 45 min)
- Uniforms are not required
- Account manager is based at an office in Joliet, IL
- Account may work holidays other than Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
Special Requirements:
- Drivers are required to tarp/strap every load - flatbed training is required and PROVIDED
- Tarps weigh up to 75lbs
- Drivers will lift tarps above their heads
- Drivers are expected to climb on the top of the load which can be up to 10' off the ground
- In order to secure the load, drivers will need to provide up to 125lbs of pressure to the ratchet bar
Equipment Info:
- Assigned Day cab - no slip seating
- Automatics
- Truck must remain at account during time off
- Passengers are not permitted
