Warehouse Inventory Clerk

Position Description

Warehouse Inventory Clerk – Ryder is hiring a permanent full‑time Inventory Clerk in Lathrop, California. Pay includes an hourly rate of $23.45, a $1.00 shift differential, and overtime at $35.18 per hour.

Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with overtime as needed.

Products:
Food products. Equipment:
Stand‑up forklift. On‑the‑job paid training, medical, dental, vision, 401 K (starting after 30 days), paid time off, and other benefits. Safety gear is provided.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One year or more warehouse experience (preferred)
• One year or more forklift operation experience (preferred)
• One year or more Microsoft Office experience (preferred)
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and self‑drive for a fast‑paced environment
• Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, excellent time‑management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments
• Participate in physical inventories as needed
• Provide floor support to operation supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices with emphasis on safety
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Perform other duties as assigned
