Band 6 or 7 – Pharmacy Manager (Launceston, Cornwall)

Location: Launceston, Cornwall

  • Banding: Band 6 or 7
  • Job Title: Pharmacy Manager
  • Working Hours: Full‑time, 36 hours per week across 5 days (Monday‑Friday, occasional Saturday)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Salary Range: £55,000 – £61,000
  • Duration: Permanent (ongoing)

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Pharmacy Manager to join our esteemed client in Launceston. Working in a community pharmacy in Launceston, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on others’ lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and private services, and provide healthcare advice to customers.
  • Play an active role in our charities support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Lead, train, and develop colleagues.
  • Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS‑covered items.
  • Use a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available to meet customer needs.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Pharmacy Degree.
  • Passionate about leading and empowering a team.
  • Community pharmacy experience.
  • GPHC registration.
  • Annual bonus – up to 20% of annual salary.
  • A 26‑week structured training plan for Pharmacy Leadership, crafted by industry specialists.
