Store Sales Representative – The Hillman Group
Location:
Salisbury, MD (territory includes Salisbury, MD; Laurel, DE; Seaford, DE).
We are seeking a Store Sales Representative to provide merchandising services and on‑site customer support to maintain high service standards at 6 stores. This hourly position offers pay ranging from $18–$20 per hour, car allowance, corporate gas card, and flexible schedule.

- Travel to and among store locations according to service schedule.
- Maintain displays, inventory, place orders, remove defective product, place POP material, and repair equipment.
- Perform physical work for tearing down / assembling displays according to plan‑ograms.
- Provide direction to temporary or support personnel during resets.
- Complete customer service sheets, surveys, and take photos of displays.
- Maintain and submit required records, receipts, and time reports accurately.
High school diploma or equivalent; college courses preferred.
Qualifications- Two years field service or merchandising experience preferred, ideally in a large‑scale retail environment.
- Ability to read and execute store plan‑ograms efficiently.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Windows.
- Open to traveling to and among store locations; occasional overnight stays allowed.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record per Hillman’s Vehicle Policy.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and Windows.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to establish effective relationships with customers.
- Problem‑solving and situational judgment.
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to safety.

Work Environment and Physical DemandsEnvironment:
Sales/service environment varies; possible exposure to dust, fumes, odors, cramped quarters. Travel up to 200 miles daily. Requires hand‑eye coordination, functional vision and hearing.
Physical Demands:
Packaging, lifting up to 50 lbs, key light‑medium effort.
