About the Role:

As an Immigration Attorney at Sanabria & Associates PLLC, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the complexities of immigration law. Your primary responsibility will be to provide legal advice and representation to individuals and families seeking to navigate the immigration process. This position requires a deep understanding of immigration policies, procedures, and regulations to effectively advocate for clients' rights and interests.

You will also be responsible for preparing and filing various immigration applications and petitions, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. Ultimately, your work will help clients achieve their immigration goals, contributing to their ability to build a new life in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in any state or US territory.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Minimum of two years experience in practicing immigration law
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with family-based immigration cases.
  • Familiarity with asylum and deportation defense.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on immigration matters, including visas, green cards, and citizenship applications.
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications with the appropriate government agencies.
  • Represent clients in immigration court proceedings and administrative hearings.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the immigration process.
Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong analytical abilities to assess complex legal issues and develop effective strategies for clients. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to explain legal concepts clearly to clients and represent them persuasively in court. Attention to detail is critical when preparing legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with immigration regulations. Preferred skills, such as fluency in a second language, will enhance your ability to connect with a diverse client base and provide more comprehensive support.

Additionally, experience in specific areas of immigration law will allow you to handle a wider range of cases and provide specialized advice.
