The Records and Information Management (RIM) Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing a multidisciplinary team providing records and information management (RIM) and related support services. The Project Manager will demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional project management capabilities, and a solid understanding of federal records management policies and programs. The selected candidate will oversee deliverables across functional areas such as FOIA, FACA, controlled correspondence, forms development, AEM development, and records retention.
The Project Manager will also be expected to maintain an open, collaborative mindset and demonstrate a willingness to contribute subject matter expertise to support corporate growth initiatives.
- Contract and Project Leadership:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract management-related matters; coordinate the submission of monthly status reports, personnel support reports, and briefing materials; respond proactively to inquiries, risks, or concerns raised by internal or external stakeholders; assist corporate staff with strategic insight, lessons learned, or data to support future planning and potential initiatives. - Business Functional Oversight:
Ensure integration and consistency across functional areas to maintain operational cohesion. - Records Management Support:
Ensure compliance with NARA guidelines and effective management; lead initiatives to improve records lifecycle processes, file plan consolidation, and agency-wide readiness; oversee FOIA-related business processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting and knowledge management systems. - Forms Support and AEM Development:
Provide strategic oversight of Adobe PDF form development and maintenance; coordinate requirement gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance. - Strategic Contributions:
Contribute expertise in solution building and business case analysis that support evolving client needs; collaborate with corporate leadership by sharing operational insights that may support business development or strategic growth opportunities.
- 5+ years of experience managing federal government projects, including RIM or related areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification.
- Strong understanding of federal records requirements including NARA guidelines, FOIA, FACA, and related compliance.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale project engagements.
- Demonstrated success using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Adobe AEM, ASANA.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.
- Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and WCAG accessibility standards.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Public Trust clearance at this location.
