Job OverviewMackey Electrical Services Inc is looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager - Electrician to oversee large-scale commercial electrical projects. This role requires a leader who not only brings technical expertise and organizational precision but also strong industry relationships that can support the company's continued growth. Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple, large-scale commercial electrical projects from start to finish
- Coordinate field operations, material procurement, and subcontractor scheduling
- Work closely with superintendents, foremen, and clients to ensure timelines and budgets are met
- Maintain project documentation, budgets, change orders, and progress reporting
- Monitor job cost tracking and profitability with detailed oversight
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and site staff
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and client representatives
- Evaluate staffing needs and assist with hiring experienced electricians or foremen when needed
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, building codes, and client expectations
- Attend onsite meetings and maintain a visible presence on job sites as needed
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial electrical construction
- High school diploma or GED required

Journeyman Electrician License - Preferred:
Bilingual in English and Spanish - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-phase commercial projects
- Ability to recruit and lead trusted electricians or foremen based on prior relationships
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management experience
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be self-directed, reliable, and able to handle multiple priorities

Full-Time
Monday through Friday (Hybrid: Office and field-based presence as needed)
Work LocationHybrid position based out of Laurel, MD (Must be available for regular job site visits and in-person meetings)
