Assistant Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with customer requirements
Develop detailed work plans, including schedules, resource allocation and
production goals for crews
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth
execution of projects
Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets
Monitor project financials, including tracking expenses, approving invoices,
and claims
Work directly with Field Supervisors to identify cost-saving opportunities
and mitigate budget overruns
Ensure all work complies with local, state and federal regulations such as
OSHA and NASSCO standards
Ensure implementation of company and customer specific safety programs (EHS
Insight)
Assist with conducting regular site safety audits (EHS)
Review accidents and incidents and assess faults and negligence. Work with
Area Manager on disciplinary measures
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring projects or work orders are
completed on time
Coordinate with Field Supervisors on manpower, equipment, and crew
availability to meet deadlines and avoid delays
Adjust schedules based on weather, permitting, or field conditions
Provide regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and risks
Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure deliverables meet technical standards and
fulfill the expectations of the customer
Review and approve field documentation, including inspections videos,
progress reports, and As-Built drawings
Identify potential project risks such as underground conflicts, delays, and
cost increases
Ensure all necessary permits are obtained before work beings
Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, submittals, RFIs, and
closeout documentation
Supervise and manage project coordinators, Field Supervisors, and Field
Crews
Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback on a regular basis
Promote a positive and productive work culture
Review daily production logs and completed work to ensure all billable
activities are accurately captured
Work with billing specialist to prepare and submit accurate and timely
invoices to customers
Track project budgets vs billed amounts to ensure profitability and flag
under billing issues
Submit month-end financials, including WIP (Work In Progress), notes of any
holds, and variance explanations to Integrity Management and Financial Partner
Participate in monthly operations meetings providing status updates and
addressing any issues
Requirements:
A minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of
education/training and/or experience
Proven ability to effectively manage a diverse regional team
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be willing to travel as needed
Must be self-motivated
Detail orientated and ability to multitask
Be able to work under strict deadlines and exhibit a team player attitude
