Position: Senior Full Stack Developer with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Full-Stack Java Developer (Spring Boot & React) to support the development of secure, scalable web applications in an Agile environment. This position is hybrid in Laurel, MD and requires Secret DoD Clearance. Responsibilities for the Full-Stack Java Developer include:
* Develop microservice-based APIs using Java Spring Boot in support of React-based front-end applications.

* Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, coding, testing, and deployment.

* Work with RDMS databases like Postgre

SQL and No

SQL databases like Redis.

* Implement automated unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.

* Collaborate with cross-functional Agile Scrum teams to complete user stories and deliver production-ready code.

* Support performance tuning, load testing, and troubleshooting activities.

* Conduct code reviews and adhere to development standards and best practices.

* Interface with customers and external teams to explain application functionality and behavior.

* Communicate sprint commitments and demonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders.
Qualifications for the Full-Stack Java Developer include:
* Master's degree in a related discipline plus 4 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years, or 12-15 years of software development experience without a degree.

* Experience developing in microservice architectures and using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

* 3+ years of Agile experience with Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD pipelines.

* Experience developing React web applications.

* Working knowledge of Docker and Apache Camel preferred.

* Familiarity with DoD STIG process is a plus.

* Active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Compensation for the Full-Stack Java Developer includes:
* Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
