Cloud-Native Software Engineer – Kubernetes & Microservices

• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) or Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Solid understanding of web application frameworks and microservice architecture.
• Proven experience building and managing data processing pipelines.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• RESTful APIs development using Java (Spring Boot) or Python.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation (such as Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation).
• Stateful and stateless services (application & architecture).
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals (Pods, Services, Name spaces, and Resource Management).

• Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph is required
• Eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field (Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree) is required.
  • An additional four (4) years of software development/engineering experience can be substituted for a degree
• At least one of the following Cloud Developer Certifications is required.
  • AWS Certified Developer-Associate
  • AWS Dev Ops Engineer Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
  • Elastic Certified Engineer

• Orchestrate complex services within a Kubernetes environment, managing deployments, ingress controllers, service meshes, and stateful workloads.
• Design and implement distributed data pipelines to ingest, process, and store high-volume data efficiently.
• Ensure seamless data flow between cloud storage, microservices, and application layers while maintaining high availability.

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable software delivery.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and cloud-readiness tests.
