• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., chest X-rays, CT scans)
• Administer oxygen therapy
• Manage mechanical ventilators
• Provide chest physiotherapy (e.g., postural drainage, percussion, vibration)
• Administer aerosol medications (e.g., inhalers, nebulizers)
• Educate patients on breathing techniques and medication use
• Monitor vital signs (e.g., heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate)
• Observe patient breathing patterns and oxygen saturation levels
• Track treatment progress and adjust as needed
• Calibrate and maintain respiratory equipment (e.g., ventilators, nebulizers)
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
• Provide information about respiratory conditions and treatment options
• Teach patients how to self‑manage their condition (e.g., home oxygen therapy, breathing exercises)
