Shift
Monday through Friday: 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Rotating Saturday & Sunday schedule.
- Entry to 4 years of employment: $34.00
- 5 to 9 years: $34.70
- 10 to 14 years: $35.10
- 15 to 19 years: $35.50
- 20+ years: $35.90
The Maintenance Mechanic performs preventative, maintenance, and repairs of large manufacturing equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, etc.).
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines, including cleaning, oiling, lubricating, changing belts, and machinery as necessary to ensure machines are in optimal working condition.
- Identify root cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines; repair quickly and efficiently to decrease downtime for machine.
- Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts, ordering and installing replacement parts for machines as needed.
- Prepare reports documenting work performed.
- Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and otherwise maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
- Collaborate with department heads regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.
- Make necessary modifications and implement test runs; confer with product manager regarding test results and make additional alterations to machinery as required.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, present to appropriate leader, and implement, lead or participate in solution implementation.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in all areas where mandatory to help promote a zero-accident culture.
- Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational certificate in appropriate field (i.e., welding, maintenance, electrical, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to take and pass internal required testing.
- Mechanically inclined with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, etc., to diagnose problems with manufacturing equipment.
- Good computer literacy with ability to enter work records in appropriate program.
- Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner; multilingual strongly preferred.
- Ability to handle and resolve most issues in an efficient and effective manner.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, planning skills, and a high attention to detail.
- Must possess a strong customer‑centric attitude, high energy level, and a strong sense of urgency.
