We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to ensure that all incoming materials and outgoing products meet established quality standards. This role is responsible for performing inspections, documenting results, rejecting non-conforming materials or products, and working closely with the production team to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to resolve quality concerns efficiently while maintaining detailed records and supporting overall product excellence.
EssentialFunctions
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
- Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Closely partner with the production team on quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Complete special assignments as required/requested by management.
- Inspect and test a variety of products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Perform daily quality checks to ensure all products meet quality standards before being shipped.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to perform simple math functions
- Ability to read and interpret instructions on packaging
- Ability to keep working area clean and free from hazards
- Ability to be organized and work efficiently
- Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekend hours
- Proficient in English language with reading, writing and speaking
- Ability to operate a forklift
