As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site - Full Time in LAUREL, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication.

You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with staff and visitors, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, and integrity through teamwork and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards within the facility and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Support the enforcement of site access control procedures, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization as required.
• Assist with incident documentation and communication with Allied Universal management and client representatives as directed.
• Remain alert to changing conditions within the environment and adapt patrol routes or response as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
