Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related analytical field.
- Possess relevant experience in generative artificial intelligence applications.
- Demonstrate skills in data pre-processing and managing imbalanced datasets.
- Be proficient in programming languages such as Python, along with experience in frameworks like Tensor Flow and PyTorch.
- Exhibit a strong curiosity and enthusiasm for keeping pace with the latest AI research and its applications.
- Capable of implementing advanced techniques to address real-world challenges.
- Show a proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Be willing and able to travel approximately once a month within the Washington DC/Baltimore area, with potential additional travel within the US or internationally as needed.
- Have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by the start date and be eligible for a TS/SCI level clearance, meeting the U.S. citizenship requirements.
- Lead the expansion of NSAD’s capabilities by working with and advancing large language models across various fields.
- Apply AI-driven insights to NSAD analyses, focusing on the tactical and operational integration of existing and new systems to aid the Department of Defense and Combatant Commands.
- Contribute to the development and application of AI capabilities throughout the APL organization, enhancing or complementing existing capabilities.
- Actively participate in generating innovative ideas to broaden the use of AI and generative AI in analyses.
- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships throughout NSAD and the Laboratory.
